The 1B12L brings the engineering of Form Factor Audio's Ceramic line into a lighter, neodymium-driver format — a single 12-inch neodymium woofer paired with a 1.4-inch compression driver, housed in a calibrated Italian Light Plywood cabinet. Designed and built in California, the 1B12L preserves the tonal voicing of the 1B12 Ceramic with a chassis weight reduction made possible by the lighter magnet structure of neodymium drivers.

A 12-inch neodymium-magnet woofer voiced to match the 1B12 Ceramic, paired with a 1.4-inch compression driver in a calibrated Italian Light Plywood enclosure. 300 watts RMS handling, 99 dB sensitivity, 48 Hz–18 kHz response. Selectable 4-ohm or 8-ohm operation. Gig Armor™ Textured Black finish on a hand-applied dual-component polyurethane base.

The 1B12L is the right cabinet for the bassist whose schedule includes multiple weekly load-ins, fly dates, and home-to-studio commutes. Voiced identically to the 1B12 Ceramic, it pairs naturally with a Bi500 Di Mark III for an exceptionally portable studio rig, or stacks alongside a 1B15L for an extended-range portable configuration.
