Quad 10-Inch Ceramic Authority — California-Built

The 4B10 is the most commanding cabinet in Form Factor Audio's Ceramic line — four 10-inch ceramic-magnet woofers and a 1.4-inch compression driver in a calibrated Baltic birch enclosure, designed and built in California. Engineered for the bassist who plays large stages, full-band rooms, and arena-format venues, the 4B10 delivers 1000 watts RMS through a precision-jointed cabinet with internal cross-bracing for resonance control.

Trusted by touring professionals for its combination of power handling, voicing accuracy, and build quality, the 4B10 represents the full expression of the Form Factor cabinet philosophy: a 4×10 designed to deliver a faithful reproduction of whatever signal it receives, at any volume the music requires.

What it does

Four 10-inch ceramic woofers and one 1.4-inch compression driver, in a calibrated Baltic birch cabinet braced for resonance control. 1000 watts of RMS handling at 101 dB sensitivity. 45 Hz–18 kHz response. Selectable 4-ohm or 8-ohm operation. Gig Armor™ Textured Black finish in dual-component polyurethane — a finish system engineered for the wear of regular touring.

“The 4B10 is the cabinet that defines the Ceramic line. Four 10-inch woofers and a compression driver give you the dispersion and the headroom to fill a large room without compression. The challenge of any 4×10 is keeping the cabinet from coloring the signal — at high volumes, cabinet resonances start to add their own character to the bass. We address that with the cross-bracing and the cabinet geometry, so what comes out of the 4B10 is what went into it. That's what a great cabinet does: it gets out of the way.” — Mike Lera, Head of Engineering & Design

Pair the 4B10 with the Bi500 Di Mark III for medium-stage work, or with the Bi1000 Di Mark III for full-scale touring rigs. Selectable 4 or 8 ohm operation lets you stack a pair of 4B10s with a Bi1000 Di Mark III without compromising power. At 94 pounds, the cabinet is built for the scale of work it's intended for; on solo load-ins, plan for two-person handling.

Why working bassists choose the 4B10

  • Full 1000W RMS handling without compression at volume
  • 45 Hz–18 kHz response, voiced specifically for bass guitar
  • 101 dB sensitivity — efficient even at high stage volumes
  • Cross-braced cabinet for tight low-mids and resonance control
